The ponies and cobs at Sugarlane are raised in 'no stress' atmosphere here on the farm, hence our ponies grow up calm and happy, loving people and attention. Each pony is treated like one of the family, expecting to display impeccable manners and kindness. Our ponies and cobs have free run of the fields and open stalls day and night. They are each handled individually and training is taken a day at a time, in accordance with each individual pony's ability. As a result, our ponies love their jobs, they love pleasing people and people love them. They will whinny in greeting, crowd around to get attention and they do their best with each task given. Of course all our ponies have the best of regular health, farrier and veterinary care. We are located in South Langley, British Columbia only 5 minutes from the Washington, U.S.A. border. This makes for easy access when transporting, importing or exporting ponies to and from Canada! Our climate is temperate, giving us an equal share of hot days in the summer, and cold, snowy days in the winter, both of which the ponies enjoy. If you are ever passing by the area, please stop in for a cup of coffee and to pat a pony. We would enjoy having you for a visit. Our doors are always open.
